My wife had a healthcare conference in Las Vegas last June and I tagged along. Eah day after dropping my wife off at the conference with a coffee and a kiss, my trusty camera and I would hit the 105 degree streets of Las Vegas look for interesting shots. One day my travels took me to the end of the line of the monorail near the Stratosphe Casino. I remember going on the rollercoaster and Big Shot on the top of this tower years before while in town for Comdex, the former huge computer show but this time I was on foot and I got to see a bit of old Las Vegas. Classic old neon signs from yesteryear, still preserved as The Stripe really hasn't reached this far yet. No doubt the days of these old gems are numbered once the economy gets back on track.
